Trained as a Health Psychologist, Dr. Arizpe specializes in helping patients who have suffered from being over weight. She has dedicated herself to preparing patients for Weight Loss Surgery and spends a great deal of her time continuing her counseling after weight loss surgery. Dr. Arizpe performs pre-operative psychological evaluations throughout Southern California. She coordinates her care with Beverly Hills Physicians in providing comprehensive care to weight loss surgery patients. She leads a weekly support group in Santa Ana, CA. In addition to preparing patients for embarking on their journey to a healthy slimmer life, she also provides support in helping patients adjust to their new bodies after surgery in both an individual and group therapy format. She is a member of Obesity Action Coalition and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.

Dr. Davidson received his medical degree from David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He then completed a three year residency program in internal medicine at UCLA affiliated Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Los Angeles. Following this training, he completed a three year fellowship program in Gastroenterology with emphasis on liver disorders at the UCLA affiliated Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Dr. Davidson is board certified in both Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He is an attending physician at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and other local hospitals in Los Angeles. His practice is focused on clinical medicine and he performs a variety of endoscopic procedures. Thousands of patients have trusted their medical care to Dr. Davidson for a variety of medical disorders most notably for screening of colon, esophageal, and gastric cancers.

Dr. Michael Feiz is a Board Certified, Fellowship trained Weight Loss Surgeon. He serves as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at USC School of Medicine in the Department of Surgery where he instructs students and other surgeons. He is an expert in weight loss surgery including The Lap Band Surgery, Gastric Bypass Surgery as well as the advanced minimally invasive Sleeve Gastrectomy.
He completed General Surgery training at the prestigious USC School of Medicine, followed by extensive training in Minimally Invasive Surgery at the world renowned Cedars Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Michael Feiz is fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Mutafyan is a Board Certified Advanced Laparoscopic General and Weight Loss Surgeon practicing in the Los Angeles area. He recently moved from the east coast where he did advanced training at Duke University and served as a Minimally Invasive Fellow in Advanced Laparoscopic General and Weight Loss Surgery. Previously he worked as a surgical intern at Oregon Health & Science University and graduated from the General Surgery Residency Program at Michigan State University. Dr. Mutafyan trained with world famous bariatric expert Dr Eric J. DeMaria and performed many of the most difficult revisional surgeries including complicated redo gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, and adjustable banding.
Dr. Mutafyan dedicated a full year to research ad Duke working on assessment of tissue ischemia after laparoscopic stapling, and on creation of endoscopic anastomoses using magnetic devices. He is affiliated with USC School of Medicine and has practices located in Glendale, Hollywood, and Beverly Hills. Dr. Mutafyan is fluent in Russian and Armenian.

Dr. Jamshid Nazarian is a diplomat of the American Board of Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a Fellow of the International College of Surgeons. As an active member of the American Society of Bariatric Surgery and International Federation of Bariatric Surgery, Dr. Nazarian's focus is on Bariatric Procedures. He has been practicing in Los Angeles since 1986, and has performed over two thousand Bariatric cases. In total, he has participated in more than four thousand Bariatric surgeries.
After completing his general surgery residency in New York at the Brooklyn Jewish Hospital, Dr. Nazarian completed his fellowship in thoracic surgery at Wayne State University in Michigan and Hahnamann University in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Nazarian’s practice specializes in Laparoscopic procedures (minimally-invasive Gastric Bypass), and he has performed a large number of difficult corrective Bariatric surgeries referred from other institutions.

Elana received her B.S. in Nutrition and Health from Queens College. In 1996 she obtained her R.D. and then went on to earn her masters in Human Nutrition from Columbia University. After working for seven years as a Dietitian in New York City Elana relocated to Los Angeles, were she is currently an Administrative Dietitian at Cedar Sinai Medical.
Elana has dedicated several years to understanding the complexity of nutritional health and planning for weight loss surgery patients.
Elana is an integral part of our multidisciplinary approach to weight loss surgery. She has continued her education and has honed her skills as a specialist in Bariatric Nutrition. She advises patients both in preparation of surgery as well as counselling and support after surgery. Elana is also a dedicated Yoga instructor.
